Driften Rose began with a rose.

On our homestead grows a unique rose unlike any other I've ever seen. Through what appears to have been a natural graft, a single plant produces two completely different roses—one a vibrant red tea rose and the other a long-stemmed yellow rose. What should have been ordinary became something unexpected and beautiful.

That rose became a reminder that some of life's most meaningful things are not carefully planned. They grow through experience, challenges, resilience, and a willingness to keep moving forward.

Driften Rose Designs was created from that same idea.

As a nurse, educator, homesteader, and family caregiver, I often found myself searching for resources that simply didn't exist—or at least not in the way I needed them. I needed classroom activities that would truly engage students. I needed organizational tools that made life easier instead of more complicated. And during some of the most challenging seasons of caring for my father, I needed caregiver resources that were practical, realistic, and designed for real families facing difficult decisions.

Too often, I found resources that were overwhelming, incomplete, or disconnected from the realities people face every day.

So I started creating my own.

What began as materials for my classroom, my family, and my own caregiving journey gradually grew into something much larger. The worksheets, planners, guides, activities, and printables I created to solve my own problems became resources that others began requesting as well.

Over time, Driften Rose Designs grew into a collection of educational resources, caregiver tools, workbooks, printables, and practical solutions created with one goal in mind: helping people feel more confident, organized, and supported.

Every product is rooted in real-life experience—whether that experience comes from decades in healthcare, years in the classroom, life on the homestead, or the lessons learned while caring for someone you love.

The rose that inspired our name reminds me every day that beauty can emerge from unexpected places. Sometimes the things that challenge us the most become the very things that allow us to help others.
